Lithuania Post will Hold the Second Real Estate Auction

The Public Limited Company Lietuvos paštas will announce its second auction on March 31 to sell approximately 60 real estate objects located in Lithuania. During the auction, Lithuania Post will offer objects suitable for sale activities, offices, and living.

In cooperation with the real estate agency Newsec, Lithuania Post proceeds with the sale of real estate objects unused in core activities. Considering the results of the previous auction, part of objects belonging to Lithuania Post will be offered for a lower price.

“Lithuania Post has many assets unused for postal purposes. The company wishes to be effective in its activities, thus one of the aims is to relieve the company of unused objects generating additional expenses. We hope the prices set for the objects will be more attractive at this auction,” Ugnius Mickevičius, Head of Maintenance Department of Lithuania Post, said.

The participants of the auction will have for choice premises located in Lithuania suitable for different purposes. The list of objects contains dormitories in Vilnius and Klaipėda, the premises of main post offices in Druskininkai and Šiauliai, holiday premises in Palanga, parts of residential buildings located in Lithuanian villages or towns. In certain cases, Lithuania Post will stay as a tenant at the premises corresponding to its needs.

The real estate auction will be held on March 31. It is planned to arrange the third auction to offer new real estate objects.
