New postage stamps from the continuous series Coats of Arms

On the 20th of February, AB Lietuvos paštas will issue three postage stamps from the continuous series Coats of Arms depicting the coats of arms of Šilalė, Jonava, and Varėna. Together with the newest postage stamps the first day cover and souvenir sheet will be issued.



The face value of the postage stamp showing the Šilalė arms is 1,35 litas, the artist is Laima Ramonienė. The face value of the postage stamp dedicated to the Jonava arms is 2 litas, the artist is Rolandas Rimkūnas. The face value of the postage stamp depicting the Varėna arms is 2,15 litas, the artist is Kęstutis Gvalda.

On the 20th of February, in Vilnius Region Main Post Office, the postal correspondence items paid by these postage stamps, issued in edition of 150 000, will be cancelled with the first day issue cancel. The postage stamps are printed in the printing-house Österreichische Staatsdruckerei GmbH in Austria.
